The main concern of this soap for babies/children is skin sensitivity. Check the ingredients listed with your child's pediatrician to make sure your children won't have an allergic reaction. This is natural handmade soap with cosmetic safe mica. If you don't want to use the soap directly on their skin, you can test a small area on their arm and/or rub a little essence of the soap into the water to infuse it.
